Class Evaluation

1.) I liked the lectures on choosing the right and the examples you give that relate to CTR experiences. I also like our daily routine when we walk in and get straight to work. And the careers are great information for things we may take into consideration for our future, i never realized that there were so many jobs available in the world. I also like our student success statement and how they are great quotes that can help you realize many things and given you inspiration to do good.

2.) Some things i do not like about this class are some kids being very disrespectful and behaving at level A. Also we should have our 15 minute breakfast and do the work after the 15 minutes are up. We shouldn't eat while typing because i feel rushed to eat because i may not finish my work.

3.) Some things you should take in consideration in doing is giving us more time to eat and separating the students who talk because they not only bully the teacher but they affect the people who want to learn with ruining there education. Also all students need to CTR and be good students.

4.) My highlight of the class is encountering many ctr people outside of class without being told to do so this inspired  me to help others without being told to do it.

5.) I believe i tried my hardest in this class and it has paid off because my typing has improved, my grade is an A, and my personality has changed for the better. So i do believe i try my hardest in this class.

6.) No, unfortunately i have not written in my life planning goals journal at home but i plan on starting to and that is one of my goals.

7.) I am because i believe that if i choose the right, good things will happen for me. Sometimes it may be tempting to do things i am not supposed to but i am dedicated to Choosing the Right. I made a promise and i dont plan on breaking it!

Today i will be writing about Lebron James a professional basketball player who is in the discussion of being on of the greatest of all time. Growing up i looked up to Lebron he was just a young kid from a small town suffering from poverty, he never had a stable home until when he was 9 and lebron and his mother moved in with his coach. At the age of 9 he was a national star in footbhall raising awareness of his talent when he stepped on the court he was just amazing. Throughout his highschool basketball career he was ranked #1 in the nation and he not only dominated in basketball he also dominated on the feild playing football. He got a scholarship to Ohio State to play football but he declined it to enter the NBA draft at 18 years old and was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the 1st pick in the draft. He stormed the league averaging 21 pts a game at only 19. Ever since lebron enetered the league everyone has looked up to him, from struggling to find a place to sleep to beng able to buy anything he wanted. Personally i will always remeber LeBron James on the person who inspired me to play basketball.

Body-Mind-Spirit

Student Success Statement

"Take responsibility for YOUR OWN body, mind, and spirit, for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well being."
- Mr. C. Haymore

This is an outstanding quote by our very own Mr. C. Haymore. This quote gives a good explanation on being more mature and being able to take the consequences you do. Once you can take responsibility over things you do you will become a more mature and happy person.

The Harmful Effects of Smoking

Your lungs can be badly affected by smoking . Cough, wheezing, and asthma are just the beginning. Smoking can cause pneumonia and or emphysema .

Smoking causes about 90% (or 9 out of 10) of all lung cancer deaths. More women die from lung cancer each year than from breast cancer. Smoking causes about 80% (or 8 out of 10) of all deaths from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Nearly 90 percent of adult smokers began smoking before age 18 and 11 percent of high school seniors reported smoking in the last month

Something you may consider is talking to a smoker and asking them if its really worth the pain and all the side effects it will cost if you smoke. Most likely you will take cigarettes out of your mind.

I promise never to smoke.

Student Success Statement
"Intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character, that is the goal of true education."

-Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

This is an outstanding quote by our very own Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who may rest in peace. I feel this quote had a strong point because some people are just smart and others are that are smart and are good people those are the people that others should look to become. If everyone had an education the world would be a better place. Everyone should look to learn and learn how to make yourself a better person at the same time

Student Success Statement

"We need the courage to START and CONTINUE what we should do, and the courage to STOP what we shouldn't do."

This is an outstanding quote by our very own Richard L. Evans. It gives a great response on what you should do. If you know what you are doing is right you shouldn't stop but as soon as you realize what you are doing isn't right you should just stop and try to do whats right. I understand the sometimes it isn't easy to stop doing something that's wrong but dont let factors like peer pressure or bad influences affect you because those are factors of life that were made by jealous people to slow you down but if you ignore them than you will become successful.

Student Success Statement
"When you Tell One Lie, it leads to Another"
-Paul Hatch

This is an outstanding quote by our very own Paul Hatch. Telling lies can lead to a very unwanted future because your reputation will drop and many people will not trust you. Even though you may think that a little lie will not affect you, that is not true! The little lies are the worst because they are the ones that lead to the bigger one. Some people do not even realize that they lie, sometimes even on the daily basis. My point is to make you realize that lying is an addiction so you shouldn't start because it will be hard to stop and at the end of the day you are going to get caught up in lies.
